QuickArrow joins OpenAir, a NetSuite Company

A Letter from the CEOs of OpenAir and QuickArrow

July 22, 2009

Dear QuickArrow Customers,

QuickArrow and OpenAir are proud to announce today that we are joining forces to bring together our companies. NetSuite Inc., the parent company of OpenAir, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire QuickArrow. NetSuite intends to integrate the QuickArrow and OpenAir businesses and thereby extend its leadership in the Professional Services Automation market.

As you may know, NetSuite is a world leader in providing integrated, on-demand business suites. It is a public company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, with over 6,600 customers worldwide. Together, QuickArrow and OpenAir will be the industry leader in on-demand Services Automation suites.

This combination will bring many benefits to QuickArrow customers:
  • More resources and investment for the QuickArrow product. By joining the NetSuite family, QuickArrow gains significantly more resources to support the QuickArrow product and, together with OpenAir, will continue to execute the company's vision of revolutionizing how service companies can manage their businesses.
  • Support 24x7. By joining the NetSuite family, QuickArrow customers will also benefit from the NetSuite standard of 24x7 support and a global network to enhance your customer experience and to ensure that as your company grows, we can grow with it.
  • Breakthrough complete solutions for managing your entire business. Almost all QuickArrow customers want tight integration between QuickArrow's Services Automation capability and Accounting / ERP systems. By bringing together QuickArrow's deep expertise in on-demand Services Automation and NetSuite's expertise in integrated ERP business suites, you will benefit from the opportunity to take advantage of our new exciting end-to-end business management solution for services companies.
In addition to the benefits you will gain, we want to reassure QuickArrow customers about some important things:
  • We will support the QuickArrow product for years to come. We want to preserve what has made QuickArrow such a success in the marketplace. In addition, because QuickArrow and OpenAir are joining together, you will be able to take advantage of the combined expertise of both companies, acknowledged leaders in this space.
  • We will preserve what you love about QuickArrow. For customers, the impact of this acquisition should be transparent. QuickArrow will continue to operate and support your application as before. For those customers that seek more complex revenue recognition functionality, or other international features, we will also provide a seamless migration path to the OpenAir Professional Services Automation product.
  • There will be no requirements for QuickArrow customers to migrate to NetSuite. QuickArrow will join OpenAir and NetSuite in continuing to develop our exciting new end-to-end solutions for services companies, NetSuite Services Resource Planning (SRP), and invest significantly in our Professional Services Automation solutions to meet your future needs, but you will be free to stay with your QuickArrow product for years to come. If and when you need an end-to-end business application to run your services company, NetSuite will provide a painless transition.
